Under the direction of owner Michael Esper, MGE Carpentry has been building custom decks in Michigan for over 10 years. Mike developed his expertise in deck construction and design while building for other local deck builders. After years of learning what works and what doesn't work in decks, Mike struck out on his own and started MGE Carpentry.

MGE Carpentry has become a full service deck builder and can meet the needs of any deck project. From upper and lower level decks to screen rooms and gazebos, we've done it all. We have built decks from many different materials, including cedar and all of the latest composite materials, including Trex. We have built hundreds of decks and have just as many satisfied customers to show for it!

After many successful years building custom decks, MGE Carpentry turned it's expertise and experience to custom finished basements. A finished basement is the most cost effective way to add living space to your home, and we've learned all the tricks to make the most of that space. We've finished dozens of basements, and every one is a unique project, custom designed from the ground up.

MGE Carpentry has grown from modest beginnings to one of the largest deck builders in Michigan. In 2005 we adopted the name of CustomDecks.Com, and our aim is to have CustomDecks.Com become the premier custom deck builder in Southeast Michigan.
